Week 2 Reflection

Working as an educator in today's society, I find out that there are a plethora of issues we face each day that could benefit from action research. When it comes to narrowing down topics, I had to think about what I could gather in terms of specific, useful data. This is particularly crucial for my demographic population of students. The students I work with are on prenatal or postnatal leave from school. They receive 4 hours of instruction for 6 weeks. So a big focus, is how can teachers maximize technology for the students that are not in a traditional setting. This week, I also learned about the passion areas in which action research falls under. These passions help to center focus around the areas of action research as they relate to success in our schools.
